• Supervise laboratory sessions and field work and coordinate laboratory operations.

• Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.

• Conduct research in a particular field of knowledge and publish findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media.

• Write grant proposals to procure external research funding.
