- Install, adjust, maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment.
- Write documents describing protocols, policies, standards for use, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment.
- Advise hospital administrators on the planning, acquisition, and use of medical equipment.
- Diagnose and interpret bioelectric data, using signal processing techniques.
